WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Acting Director of National Intelligence (A/DNI) is disclosing the aggregate amount of $61.9 billion in requested appropriations for the Fiscal Year 2021 National Intelligence Program (NIP).

The National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) today unveiled the National Counterintelligence Strategy of the United States of America 2020-2022, outlining a new approach to counterintelligence to address threats that have evolved significantly since the last strategy in 2016.

ODNI-Sponsored Study Examines Bioeconomy

WASHINGTON, D.C. – An Office of the Director of National Intelligence-sponsored study examining the current state of the bioeconomy and outlining strategies to protect data and intellectual property was released last week.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, announced today the launch of the Molecular Information Storage (MIST) program. MIST is a multi-year research effort to develop next-generation data storage technologies that can scale into the exabyte (1 million terabyte) regime, and beyond, with significantly reduced physical footprint, power and cost requirements, relative to conventional approaches. The program will pursue this goal by using synthetic DNA as a data storage medium and developing a new category of devices that can write information to, and read from, synthetic DNA media at scale.
