WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), the research and development arm of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, today announced the launch of a program that seeks to engineer novel artificial intelligence technologies capable of attributing authorship and protecting authors’ privacy.

 

 

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) today announced the University of Kansas, the University of New Hampshire, and Saint Louis University as this year’s grant recipients and newest members of the Intelligence Community Centers for Academic Excellence (IC CAE) program, an initiative to prepare and hire the next generation of diverse and qualified intelligence professionals.

 

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA), the research and development arm of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, today announced the start of a multi-year research effort to significantly boost the performance of electrically small antennas (ESAs) — or antennas that are much smaller than the wavelength of signals they send and receive.

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – For the 13th consecutive year, the Intelligence Community (IC) has been named as one of the “Best Places to Work in the Federal Government.” The IC ranked fourth overall among large federal agencies with more than 15,000 full-time permanent employees.

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines released the following statement on the confirmation of Kenneth L. Wainstein as Under Secretary of Homeland Security for Intelligence and Analysis:

Wainstein to the IC and congratulate him on his Senate confirmation to lead the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A). I cannot think of a better person to take on this leadership role.

 

“Ken is a former Homeland Security Advisor and experienced public servant, and I look forward to working with him as he fulfills I&A’s critically important mission, which includes the sharing of timely and actionable intelligence with State, Local, Tribal and Territorial, and private sector partners in support of our national security.”
