DNI RELEASES BUDGET FIGURE FOR FY 2015 BASE APPROPRIATIONS REQUEST FOR THE
NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM

Consistent with 50 U.S.C. 3306(a), the Director of National Intelligence is disclosing to the public the aggregate amount of appropriations requested for Fiscal Year 2015. This amount excludes funding required to support overseas contingency operations.

The aggregate amount of base appropriations requested for the FY 2015 National Intelligence Program is $45.6 billion.

Any and all subsidiary information concerning the National Intelligence Program budget, whether the information concerns particular intelligence agencies or particular intelligence programs, will not be publicly disclosed.

Beyond the disclosure of the NIP requested figure, there will be no other public disclosures of currently classified budget information because such disclosures could harm national security. The only exceptions to the foregoing are for existing unclassified appropriations, such as for the Intelligence Community Management Account.
