According to the Fiscal Year 2020 Intelligence Community Annual Demographic Report, only 11% of the Intelligence Community identifies as persons with disabilities across all pay grades.

 

That percentage is even smaller, at 7.7% when looking at people with disabilities who serve at the senior executive level - one of the highest positions below political appointees in the federal government.

 

Chris Waugh, National Counterterrorism Center officer, spoke to more than 50 high school students and faculty from the Columbia Heights Educational Campus in Washington, D.C., May 7, as a part of ODNI’s Adopt-A-High School Partnership Program.

 

Sydney Seiler, National Intelligence Officer for North Korea at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, received the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joint Distinguished Civilian Service Award on Feb. 10 during a socially distanced ceremony for his support to U.S. Forces Korea as the Command’s Senior Expert for North Korea from April 2016 to Aug. 2020.

 

The National Counterterrorism Center was stood up nearly 20 years ago in the wake of the tragic Sept. 11 attacks. Today, the NCTC Operations Center stands watch 24/7 to provide an integrated threat picture, real time insight, and warning against terrorist threats.

 

In the years since Sept. 11, NCTC has led intelligence integration on counterterrorism for the entire U.S. government through multiple crisis, attacks, and uncertainty.

 

The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) is developing new scientific approaches to take high-definition-like pictures of geosynchronous satellites from the ground. The goal is to better account for the behavior and movement of these high orbiting objects in space.
